Wordless Wednesday… Do As I Say, Not As I Do.

From the Do As I Say, Not As I Do Department…

DSC00856

I started the day with about 20 units left in my reservoir. I thought I would make it back home after work before that was all gone, but, well, you know how things happen… Sometimes things happen that are out of your control.

I wound up getting home about half an hour later than I expected. The good news is that my pump, though scratched and extremely dirty, was still pumping. Despite what the display in the photo shows.

I’ve since changed my site and reservoir, and given my pump a thorough cleaning. I promise.

Wordless Wednesday. Multi-Purpose Packaging.

This little package has three important uses:

First… If you freeze these little guys, they’re great for keeping your lunch cold:

Second… Best.Stress.Reliever.Ever.

…And I simply couldn’t live without what comes in these little boxes:

Wordless Wednesday… That’s more like it.

In Monday’s post I complained a lot about how crazy my glucosity was all weekend. But now it seems like things have calmed down a bit. The photo above is from last night, and it reflects how my BG has been behaving for the past two days. Granted, my high and low markers are pretty high and pretty low, but at least I’m doing better over the last 48 hours or so.

And check out this graph from last night… A little low around 11:00 (treated with juice), then steady during sleep. Mind you, I haven’t really done much different except staying hyper-aware of how I’m trending:

Wordless Wednesday: This is what recovery from a 3:00 a.m. low looks like.

Somehow, I was down in the 30s this morning at 3:00. The remedy: two juice boxes, some peanut butter, and three hours of sleep. This is the result:

Have a great Wednesday!

Wordless Wednesday. Nice.

I wasn’t going to post today (still feeling awful), but then I saw this. You may have seen this already, courtesy of BuzzFeed: “26 Moments That Restored Our Faith In Humanity This Year”.

Bella and Deidre of the AT1 JDRF Capitol and Maryland Chapters group on Facebook turned me on to this photo, number 8, yesterday:
