When your infusion set is on its 5th day, and you really want to keep it from working its way out before you squeeze the last few drops of d-fuel from your reservoir, you’ll do just about anything to keep it in.

I’m kind of embarrassed to show this photo, actually. But not enough to change out my set a day early.

How do you like the pump? I’ve been thinking about it, and was hoping to hear from others who have it. does it get in the way of anything, like sports or sleeping (if you move a lot while sleeping)? is there anything you can’t do with it that you can do without it?

Lee, I’m finding that I can do pretty much anything with the pump. Plus, it gives me a little more convenience that when I was on multiple daily injections. The biggest thing for me isn’t the pump getting in the way as much as the infusion set getting in the way. Gotta be careful getting dressed and moving around obstacles. Other than that, it’s all about getting used to it. Good luck with your decision!
